Johannesburg-based artist, Michael MacGarry opened his newest show Show No Pain at the Wits Art Museum (WAM) on 2 May 2017.

Depicting a culmination of the artist’s earlier animated film and video works, as well as his more recent creations, Show No Pain offers its audience a retrospective glance at MacGarry’s artistic journey; showing not only works that have been exhibited, but also offering ‘text-based works describing films the artist has never made’ (ArtThrob 2017).

The show concludes 18 June 2017.
