Dear Friends,

As we wrap up an exciting and fruitful year at Everard Read Johannesburg, we’d like to take this opportunity to acknowledge all of you – dear customers and friends of the gallery – for the critical part you play in our ongoing success. We thank you so much for your support.
 
We are immensely proud to call this dynamic and yes, sometimes challenging, but nevertheless wonderful city, our home. We hope you think of both our Everard Read and CIRCA Johannesburg spaces as bastions of beauty, creativity and thinking.
 
Our gratitude also extends to our wonderful artists, service providers, and colleagues across the group. They collectively make magic happen daily.
 
May your festive season be filled with good rest and great happiness – and here’s to a prosperous and fulfilling 2024. We look forward to welcoming you to Everard Read Johannesburg soon.
 
On that topic, our exhibition calendar kicks off with two not to be missed shows in February. Make sure you pencil both Brett Murray (1 Feb 2024) and Deborah Bell (8 Feb 2024) and their staggering work into your diary.
 
It’s also worth remembering that Everard Read Cape Town is open over December and has both a solo show from Neill Wright entitled This Quiet Company and a tremendous group show, entitled, The Other’s Warmth on until January 7.
 
Everard Read Johannesburg will be closed from 22 December 2023 and reopen 8 January 2024.
