Everard Read Gallery is delighted to announce a solo exhibition by renowned artist Atang Tshikare, titled "Setlhare."
The exhibition showcases a stunning collection of artworks that explore the integral role of flora in human existence, using the Setswana language to convey the meaning of Setlhare, which means a tree or to heal and give life.
Tshikare's work is a celebration of the vital role that flora plays in every aspect of our lives, from nourishing our bodies through diet to providing essential medicinal properties, from the air we breathe to the shelter we seek. His artwork serves as a bridge between the outer environment and our inner world, emphasizing the importance of this relationship for our physical and emotional well-being.
