2020. For humans these numerals are already burned into our cerebrum. They allude to the scariest time since Adolf. One infinitesimally small package of protein replicated itself trillions of times and bumped us off our perch.
For other denizens of Planet Earth 2020 is a halcyon year. A year they got their world back. At least for a while. We scurried home and animals came out to play! Omnipotent humanity’s bludgeoning of nature has stilled. Earth took a deep breath and Guy du Toit’s Hares jive in the moonlight.
